This alternative is much less restrictive than traditional sanctions for driving under the influence (DUI) or while intoxicated (DWI), and helps individuals, families and businesses maintain their livelihood by preventing alcohol related driving violations.

• When the ignition is turned on the system prompts the driver to provide a breath sample.
• The driver is required to provide a deep lung breath sample lasting 4 - 6 seconds.
• Within a few seconds the device analyzes the BrAC (breath alcohol content) level and the driver is informed whether the breath sample passes and the vehicle can be started.
• The system records all test data-both initial and rolling retests, as well as any attempt to tamper with the unit. The information recorded is both downloadable and printable.
